A HORRIBLE HUMAN WORLD



PROLOGUE

This story is happening in a world where the existence of elf is considered to be a myth by human. Thousands of years ago, the elf have been lived with human because they thought that human is a friendly creature. But then, two nation of human who have a contradiction about land and brought them into a war in which more than a million people died.

The elf is scared that they might have some things that could create a war with human. To avoid something like that, the elf decided to disappear from human world and living inside a magic forest. This forest has something magical that could prevent the human flesh to go through the forest and arrive to the elf’s world which is lies deep inside the magic forest.

Human nowadays think that the story about elf is just a myth. The new generation thought that their ancestor just making a good bedtime story for children since there were no history record at that time except a weird cave painting. Nobody would believe that the painting of elf is based on the real elf at that time. The new generation thought that it’s just an imaginary painting like an artist nowadays.



THE FARMER BOY

Now is the story of the farmer boy, a simple farmer boy who lives near the magic forest. It’s simple because he was born from a farmer which makes him a farmer boy. But his heart is not that simple, he hate his farm life and want to become a famous rich man. He is willing to do anything to achieve his passion.

Right now he is wearing an archer’s uniform stolen from a war zone not so long ago. The usual war that often occurred in the human world. He prepared his bow, aiming his arrow to a rabbit near bushes. And then he release the arrow to the rabbit.

Did he got the rabbit? Of course not!! He is just a simple farmer boy. He could enlist the kingdom’s soldier if he can hit the rabbit and leaving his farm life long time ago.

That’s why he is getting really angry right now and shout to the sky. “Damn!! I don’t want to die in this farm house!! I want to die in a palace with lot of money.”

He loaded two arrow to his bow, point it to the sky, and shout “God! If you are really exist, please give me money, ability, or anything that could help me getting out of this farm life!! Let these two arrow become my message to you who live somewhere on the sky! I hope the message will reach you if you really exist”

After he shouted, he release the two arrow to the sky and watch it with anger. After reaching at certain height, the arrow goes down right into the magic forest where suddenly a voice is coming out.

“AARRGHH!!”

The farmer boy is startled by that voice and then rush over to the forest and to the river inside the forest. Right there he found a body which have been hit by his arrow. Do he feel miserable by that? NO!! Actually he is happy because it’s the first time he hit a target, even though it’s just a coincidence.

Just after a while then he realized that he have killed a man and could be brought to jail because of that. He go to the body and hope that the body is still alive. The body is still breathing but in a critical condition that the body could die at any moment. The farmer boy is panicked and then trying to pick up the body so that he could bring it to a doctor.

But then he noticed that this body is not a human body, the ear is different, the uniform is unusual. He remembered about a cave painting which described the elf’s figure. This body really matches those description, especially the ear.

He thought that this is his ticket to the road of becoming a famous rich man. “If I create a show or something about this elf, I will get a lot of money.” He thought of that in his mind and get really excited.

Suddenly the body, now we know that it’s an elf, trying to speak. “I’ve come for Pea….”
Without finishing the line, the elf died.

“Hey! What are you trying to tell me?” the farmer boy asking.

“Ah, maybe you are going to pee on the river but got hit by my arrow. If that so, then you are one unlucky elf. Hahaha..” The farmer boy said that with a happy tone.

And then the farmer boy take the elf  body from the magic forest. Having an elf body, the farmer boy created some kind of a freak show. He sold his farming land without his father’s approval and then buy a small theater building in the city. In this building he put the elf body at the center and covered it with a solid glass so that the visitor can move around to see all part of the elf. He doesn’t scared if the elf body going to rot and stink because according to the myth, elf body would never get rotten. And it’s really happen to this elf body, this is a solid proof that this body is a real elf body. So then He open this so called elf freak show is open to public.

The elf freak show is getting famous really fast, suddenly he becomes rich because of it. People around the world come to his freak show just to fulfill their curiosity about existence of elf is real.

Having the most famous show in the world, he becomes the most famous rich boy in the world. He make a writing about how he discovered the body, there he wrote that the day he discovered the elf body is the day he believe in God and the existence of elf is real. God is real because he answer my desire and fulfilled my passion, that’s also written in the book.

The writing also got famous and give the farmer boy a lot of money. Well, now we can’t call him a farmer boy anymore because he has become a famous rich person as he always wanted to be.



THE ELF

Since the elf decided to disappear from human world, they always keep looking the human world. They wanted to know if the human will get tired of war. But as far as they see, in every era there will be a war in the human world. This is why the elf never showed themselves to the humans who already thought that elf is just a myth.

All elf think that human world is horrible, except one elf who has a beautiful long silver hair. He always think that the elf could live in peace with humans, moreover the elf could become the peacemaker to the human world. His name is Elvianno.

Elvianno  tell a lot of things about some human who love peace and hoping that there will be an eternal peace in their world to the council. He has lived for 500 years and he spent most of his live in the human world to research the human world in secret. All things that he said in the elf’s council are being declined. The elf council insisted to believe that the humans will only bring bloodshed to the elf if they are get in touch with humans.

Having no other things to said to convince the council, this elf decided that he alone will go to the human world. He will bring some humans to the council and let them speak to the council that they are also wanted a peace in their world.

The council shocked and trying to prevent Elvianno’s mad action but failed. And then, Elvianno go to the border of the magic forest and to the river, where next to the river in the edge of the forest lies a human farm house. The effect of the magic forest is poor in here.

“We can live in peace with human world because they are actually wanted a peaceful life.” This is what Elvianno’s mind.

Suddenly, two arrow coming down from the sky. The two arrow landed on the elf’s body and made him loudly scream.

“AARRGHH!!”

The elf then goes down. Not so long, a farmer boy comes to check what got hit by his arrow. And when the farmer boy trying to pick up Elvianno’s body, Elvianno trying to tell him that this elf have come for peace to the human world and the elf world. But Elvianno couldn’t  said it because he died before finishing the line.

Other elf who secretly following Elvianno watched the farmer boy as he get famous and rich by showing the elf body to the world.  Then, this secretly followed elf spread the news to the elf world.

“Should we get revenge to this cruel human?” Ask one of the council member.

“No, why don’t we use this as a lesson why we shouldn’t get in touch with the humans. Let Elvianno’s mad action and how his life end becomes a lesson so that no other elf would go to the human world.” Said the chief of the council, and everybody accept it.

There goes an Elvianno lesson being an important lesson in the school of elf and given to the elf since childhood.



EPILOGUE

News about founding an elf in the magic forest have been spread all over the world. Human greed made many people to go to the forest seeking for an elf world or at least an elf. All of them want to be a rich person by showing an elf body to the people just like what farmer boy did.

But the magic of the forest always block the human, the magic made human confused and losing direction so that the human were going in a circle. No human could pass it and get to the elf world. From this day, there will be no single elf ever cross the border of the magic forest to go to the human world. They are isolating themselves from the human world.

Thousands of years later, the story about an elf got hit by a farmer boy becomes a myth. Not a single man from the new generation would believe if it’s real. Because the body of the elf had been stolen and no one knows who stole it or where did it gone to, no one in the world show it again to the public. Maybe the culprit just want to keep it as his/her private collection and don’t want to share it with other people. Then he/she died along with the Elvianno’s story in the human world because he/she never told anyone about the elf body that he has stolen, which makes no proof that the story is truth.

The elf never go to the human world again because of the Elvianno’s lesson they learned about the elf that got hit and being showcased in the human world. So, there will be no contact between human and the elf.

For the human, the elf world is just a myth.
For the elf, the human world is a real horrible place.
